Retired Adult Maltese
A retiree is a dog whose part in the breeding program is finished. Some
are champions who have had their litters, some are dogs we kept back and
decided in the end not to breed. They are adults, usually several years
old, house trained, used to a lap and a routine, and past every one of
the puppy stages a new owner dreads. For a quiet household, an older
owner, or anyone who has already raised a puppy once and would rather
not again, a retired adult is often the better dog, and we say that as
people who sell puppies.
None are available at the moment
We do not keep a waiting list for retirees, because a dog is only
retired when it is the right time for that dog and not when there is a
home waiting. If you would like to be told when one becomes available,
email divinemaltaol.gmail.com@gmail.com
with a line about your household, and we will keep your note. When a
dog is placed, we will tell you her age, her history with us, her
habits, and anything she needs, before you decide.
In the meantime there are two
puppies available, and the pet puppies
page explains how a puppy from us is raised and placed. Call Angie
on (856) 394-0451 with any question.
