About Divine Maltese
One breed, one family, since 1992.

Maltese and Nothing Else
Divine Maltese is Angie Stanberry's kennel, in the New Orleans area of Louisiana. It began in 1992 with a single aim that has not changed since: to breed Maltese that look like the standard, move like it and live like family dogs. There has never been a second breed here, and there has never been a mix.
The early dogs came from the Marcris, Pashes and Su-Le lines, with a great deal of help from the Rhapsody and Hi-Lite kennels. The first champion we finished was CH Rhapsody's White Pepper ROM, all four and a half pounds of her.

A Kennel Built on Champions
Over more than thirty years Divine Maltese has owned or bred 105 champions. The foundation sire, CH Marcris Indecent Proposal ROMX, known as Indy, sired fifty-three of them on his own. The American Maltese Association named Divine a Platinum Breeder in 2004 and a top co-breeder every year from 1999 to 2003.
Showing is how a breeder finds out whether the dogs are as good as she thinks. Every pet puppy comes from the same parents and the same care as the show prospects. Meet the champions.

Pet Puppies Bred to the Same Standard
Pet puppies leave at twelve weeks or older, examined by our veterinarian, vaccinated and wormed for their age, with AKC papers, a week of their food and a written health guarantee. Both parents are tested for patellas, heart, eyes and liver shunt.
And a dog bred here always has a place to come back to: we will take back any dog we bred, at any age, for life.
